Piano Pals

The Piano Sprouts and Piano Pals group piano programs at the Benson School of Music are exciting and engaging musical journeys designed specifically for children ages 3.5 to 5 years (not starting Kindergarten) and 5-6 years (Kindergarten and Grade 1)!

Sprouts and Pals both build a solid foundation for a lifelong love of music. Classes are carefully crafted to engage both children in interactive and enjoyable musical activities. Each session is designed to stimulate creativity and nurture a deep appreciation for music!

Piano Sprouts is an adult-and-child class, and grown-ups play a pivotal role as musical mentors for their children. By actively participating in the learning process, they not only strengthen the grownup-child bond but also model a positive attitude towards music, inspiring their little ones to develop a passion for melody and harmony.

Piano Pals does not have a grown up attend for the duration of the class, but we do ask that grown ups to stick around for share time at the end of each class!

Program Structure:

Weekly 45-minute Group Classes: The Piano Sprouts and Pals programs consist of weekly small group lessons specifically tailored to the needs and abilities of children ages 3.5 to 6.

Led by experienced instructors, these lessons will be interactive and engaging, incorporating singing, movement, rhythm activities, and piano exploration.

Note about Piano Sprouts: One grown up must attend class with the student.
Because of the interactive nature of Piano Sprouts, we highly encourage a 1:1 grown-up/child ratio each week.
